I was born in a small village in the south of France, and from a very early age, education became my world.

​

When I was eight years old, my mother founded one of the first international schools in our region. I grew up in that environment, surrounded by children, teachers, families, projects, successes, and challenges. Without consciously choosing it, I learned about education from the inside, in its most authentic and deeply human reality.

That formative experience changed everything for me. It showed me, from childhood, what a school can become when it is built with conviction, high standards, and love.

Over the years, I have held almost every role imaginable within a school. I began with the simplest responsibilities before moving into student activities, administration, student support, teaching, and eventually school leadership.

I then founded my own schools, where I built everything from the ground up: the educational approach, the teams, the learning environments, the educational projects, and sometimes even the most technical logistical aspects.

This complete immersion taught me something I will never forget:

 

a school is not a building. It is a living, deeply human ecosystem.

​

Alongside my professional experience, I studied psychology, sociology, journalism, and education. Psychology and sociology gave me the tools to understand child development, group dynamics, emotions, and motivation. Journalism taught me to observe, to question, and to maintain a critical perspective on the world. Education provided a strong foundation for my professional practice. But my learning has never stopped there. I have continued to train in active learning methodologies, Montessori education, the International Baccalaureate, and IB school leadership. More recently, I earned a certification as a Blended Learning Engineer, specialising in the design of hybrid and online learning environments.

 

This expertise enabled me to build United Spark Education on strong pedagogical and technological foundations. And I continue to learn every day, particularly in the fields of neuroscience, cognitive science, and artificial intelligence applied to education.

Because education cannot remain static. Children change. The world changes. And I must continue to evolve with them.

​

What has always touched me most deeply are the children themselves.

​

Their natural curiosity. Their desire to understand. Their ability to be amazed by the simplest things. And their extraordinary energy when they are learning in an environment that truly suits them.

​

I have seen children arrive at school each morning with smiles on their faces, excited about their projects, asking questions, investigating, exploring, and creating. I have also seen children who were struggling regain their confidence in just a few weeks simply because they were placed in an environment that was appropriate, respectful, and attentive to their needs. Children who believed they were incapable began to succeed. They dared to try. They found their voice. They stood taller.

 

These transformations have reminded me, time and again, just how profoundly an educational environment can change the course of a child's life. Sometimes dramatically. And sometimes remarkably quickly.

I have also had the privilege of working alongside extraordinary teachers. Passionate, creative, demanding professionals who are deeply committed to their mission. People capable of passing on far more than knowledge: confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning. I have always believed that a teacher can change a life. And I have witnessed it happen many times, simply because one adult chose to see a child differently, believed in them, and gave them an opportunity.

Education cannot exist without families.

 

Being a parent today is an immense challenge. Between the demands of daily life, uncertainty, emotions, and external pressures, very little is ever simple. That is why I have always sought to build relationships of trust with families, not relationships based on judgement or opposition, but a genuine partnership centred around the child. Because every child needs to feel that the adults around them are moving forward together, in the same direction.

​

That is why I have placed parental support at the very heart of United Spark Education. Parents have access to a dedicated space, personalised coaching sessions, themed workshops, and an engaged community. They are informed, involved, and supported every step of the way. Because supporting a child also means supporting their family.

 

And beyond school and family, I deeply believe in the power of community. A child grows through every person they encounter. Each individual has something valuable to share. It is this collective richness, often invisible, yet profoundly real, that shapes a human being.

Why do so many children lose their natural curiosity at school?

 

This is the question that has never left me.

Why do so many students stop enjoying learning? Why does school, which should be a place of fulfilment and discovery, sometimes become a source of stress, lost confidence, or discouragement?

​

Throughout my career, I have tried to change things from within. By creating schools. By introducing active learning approaches. By placing children at the centre of their own learning journey. But I also encountered limitations. Rigid frameworks. Administrative constraints. Systems that were difficult to transform in any meaningful way.

​

So I stepped back.

​

I travelled. I observed other education systems, other cultures, and other ways of learning and growing. And one conviction emerged with a clarity I had never experienced before: there is another way.

​

It is possible to build a school that is more respectful of children, better suited to their needs, more connected to the real world. A school that is more vibrant. More human.

 

That is how UNITED SPARK EDUCATION was born.

​

"Spark" is the spark I see in the eyes of every child.

A natural curiosity.

A unique potential.

An extraordinary capacity to learn, understand, create, and grow.

​

Yet far too often, that spark begins to fade; Not because it isn't there, but because it is not sufficiently nurtured, recognised, or respected.

I created United Spark Education for one purpose: to reignite that spark. And to never let it fade again.

​

My vision is built on one simple conviction: there is no single right way to learn.

 

Every child is different.

Every pace is different.

Every learning journey is unique.

​

I draw inspiration from the world's most effective educational approaches: the International Baccalaureate, active learning methodologies, neuroscience, and educational innovations from around the globe. But I am not bound by any single method. I choose what genuinely works for children. And it is precisely that freedom that makes my school different.

​

In the school I have built, children do not learn by sitting and listening. They create, explore, experiment, debate, collaborate, and solve real-world problems.

 

Knowledge is not memorised for an exam. It is used to understand the world and to make a meaningful impact on it.

​

Every project is rooted in one of the IB's six transdisciplinary themes, allowing children to explore the major challenges of our time: the environment, cultural diversity, solidarity, science, innovation, and personal development.

​

And from the Inventors years onwards, every student completes an IB Personal Project. A long-term, deeply independent inquiry that is, by far, one of the most transformative learning experiences I have ever witnessed in a young person.

​

The core academic foundations remain essential and are taught to a high standard: reading, writing, grammar, spelling, mathematics, science, and languages. But I teach them differently, with meaning, real-world connections, and deep understanding rather than superficial memorisation.

 

English is the school's primary language of instruction, and from the age of seven, children begin preparing for the internationally recognised Cambridge qualifications.  Families may choose to add one or two additional languages, depending on their life plans and family context.

​

But what truly sets my school apart is what it teaches beyond the traditional curriculum.

 

These are the skills that conventional education has largely overlooked, yet they will be essential for the generation growing up today.

​

I teach children how to learn: how their brains work, how to memorise effectively, how to concentrate, and how to organise their work independently.

​

I integrate coding, robotics, and digital literacy, taught with both rigour and ethical awareness, because a child who understands technology is a child who controls it, rather than being controlled by it.

​

I introduce sustainable entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and the foundations of law, because understanding the economic and legal world we live in is a form of freedom.

​

I teach biomimicry and systems thinking, philosophy from kindergarten onwards, emotional intelligence and psychology, and I place physical and mental well-being on exactly the same level of importance as mathematics or science.

​

Assessment in my school exists to serve the child. Not to rank them.

​

It is compassionate, continuous, and formative. It guides, encourages, and supports every student throughout their learning journey without ever comparing them to anyone else.

​

Because a child who is not afraid of making mistakes is a child who dares to learn.

​

I deeply believe that schools should educate human beings, not simply students.

​

Values are not an optional part of education. They are the foundation of everything I build.

​

Curiosity as the driving force behind lifelong discovery.

​

Empathy and kindness, so children learn to understand others and live well together.

​

Self-confidence and resilience, so they dare to try, make mistakes, and begin again without losing heart.

​

Critical thinking and philosophy, introduced from kindergarten onwards, so they learn to think for themselves and question the world with intelligence and nuance.

​

Creativity, to imagine what does not yet exist.

​

Collaboration, because tomorrow's greatest challenges will only be solved together.

​

Environmental responsibility and global citizenship, because today's children will shape tomorrow's world.

​

And above all, the joy of learning, because a happy child learns more deeply, more effectively, and more sustainably than a child who learns under pressure.

​

These values are not displayed on a classroom wall. They are lived through every project, every conversation, and every moment of school life.

​

My school welcomes every child, from the age of 3 to 15+.

 

Those who learn quickly, and those who simply need more time.

Those who are gifted, and those living with dyslexia, ADHD, or autism spectrum disorder.

Those going through a period of school anxiety or disengagement, who need a gentle, supportive environment to regain their confidence.

And nomadic, expatriate, travelling, or worldschooling families, for whom educational continuity and flexibility are not a luxury, but a necessity.

United Spark Education is an online school, designed from the very beginning to be accessible from anywhere in the world.

​

And because I believe that learning is enriched through face-to-face experiences, movement, meaningful interactions, and engagement with the real world, I am gradually developing Learning Hubs, physical spaces where children will regularly come together to learn alongside one another, collaborate on meaningful projects, and experience the kind of learning that brings their knowledge to life.

​

It is a project that is growing, just like the school itself—step by step, with care and conviction.

​

Ultimately, my mission is simple.

 

To help every child unlock their full potential.

To rediscover the joy of learning.

To build genuine self-confidence.

To understand the world.

And to become fully themselves.

​

I am not trying to create just another school.

​

I am building a different kind of school.

 

A school that deeply respects every child, nurtures their curiosity, shapes their character, and gives them the tools to build the life they choose—one lived with freedom, responsibility, and a wholehearted commitment to the world around them.

 

United Spark Education was born from this conviction.

​

And it is this conviction that guides every decision, every educational choice, and every project I create.
